Our Bright Future #16: Evi Maes and Matthias Arentsen — Living Life in Line with Nature, Purity, and by Appreciation

We first met Evi Maes and Matthias Arentsen some years ago, in what feels now like a different timeline, on a spiritual high, when we were all aiming to awaken the world, one post at a time.

We reconnected with them a year or two later, in mid-late 2019, when we were flying through a dark night of the soul, and they suggested joining Oracle Girl’s purification space. They had been in the space for some time already. I will never forget what Evi told me when I offered, “well, I’m already working with a coach.” She said: “Forget about the coach, or any coach. This is GOLD.”

After being part of an amazing organization that showed them many things about what a positive future can look like, in Spring 2020, a gentle and powerful impulse directed their future lives. Evi woke up one morning and knew that she must plant seeds — that’s all she knew. She had never planted seeds; she didn’t have experience as a gardener; she didn’t know what she would grow or how she would do it. But she knew she needed to do it, and she began. Following this call, after a week, more than 150 pots with seeds sprouted on their veranda. Within a few weeks, they had a large vegetable garden, from which they shared the harvest with the locals, and a seed library for others.

Their non profit organization, In Line With Nature was born. Contributing to a new economy through action in line with nature.

That initial impulse unfolded a new path for Evi and Matthias — learning about themselves in the process of growing food and interacting with others around them in a new way. They felt a new relationship with nature, and with a new care economy that flows naturally when working with nature.

Our Bright Future #12: Dr. Christiane Northrup – Our Bodies, Our Wisdom, and Our Freedom Now

Dr. Christiane Northrup — for decades, worldwide, her name has been synonymous with women’s health and empowerment. While Christiane has long been a lighthouse for women and women’s health, it is no surprise that she has more recently emerged as a leader in our current health crisis–carrying the same, powerful message about our body’s innate power, wisdom, and ability to heal. 

In these times, Christiane has been part of a powerful chorus of doctors and health leaders worldwide who have made clear that we have nothing to fear. That lockdowns and control measures are unnecessary — and in fact, threatening to our health, especially our mental health, as well as our freedom and sovereignty as beings. For many years, she has spoken up about our over-medicalization, stating that we have so much more power over our own health than we have been taught. Over her life’s work, she has steadily pointed us within, to listen to our bodies as our guide to what we really need to grow, heal, and thrive.

Our Bright Future #11: Paul Richardson on Re-Designing Home and Community in Line with Nature

On the path to fully self-reliant, self-regenerative homes and communities aligned with nature and its principles, one of our guides is surely to be Paul Richardson.

After a lengthy career in architecture, traveling the world building hotels and working on other prestigious projects, Paul experienced an awakening in 2017 that led him to re-discover his true mission in this life–to help humankind get back to the land, and bring forward a new Earth through natural and sustainable designs for living at home and in community.

Paul since founded the Haven Earth Center, “a transitional platform, sort of a guide, to allow people to begin relocating from the dense urban (sick) reality, into a nature inspired and focused community centric model of living, a creative haven.” The platform includes prototype holistic living models, structures, homesteads and communities that are self-regenerative, and fully supporting and integrative into natural settings. Paul has gained special attention recently for his hemp houses, which make use of the abundant and inexpensive natural resource, now so plentiful in the US.

Many of us are focused right now on building community, and more specifically, on how local community resilience will be key to our survival and thriving as centralized systems come apart, and the world shifts to one that is more local, rooted in bonds of affection, and aligned with nature.

How do we rebuild our society at the local level? What designs for ecologically sound and sustainable communities do we have to learn from? What will help us make the transition, and what can we learn from the community-building trailblazers who have come before us?

We begin this conversation in the Our Bright Future series with Stephen Brooks the remarkable founder of La Ecovilla and the Punta Mona Center for Regenerative Design & Botanical Studies, both located in Costa Rica.

Our Bright Future #4: Walter Almeida on The Future of Online Networks: How Communities Build Their Own Systems for Connection & Exchange on a New Earth

What if there was an entirely different way to connect and exchange online that served our awakening planet and its communities? What if we could create our own online systems for connection and exchange? How would we want them to look and feel? What would be their mission, values, and objectives? What goals would they serve?

And finally…

What if online networks were established by communities to serve a set of common and shared purposes defined by communities themselves?

Walter Almeida has spent over a decade of his life developing a technology that he is now open sourcing, that can be used to do just that. To help communities come together, identify their needs for connection and exchange, and then design their own platform to meet those needs, help and serve one another. While working for the corporate world, he never felt the existing platforms served the highest good. He has since stepped out with a mission to create a technology that anyone can use to design their own community network online—say, the Wordpress of online social and exchange networks.

In this episode we plan to dive deep into the world of online networks, how they have largely failed humanity and an exciting vision for upgrading this system via some exciting new technology. Also, we cover an exciting new opportunity for the Ownstream Community to pilot this technology in creating a new community for us, serving our unique needs. Join us!

Our Bright Future #1: Sarah Armide on Freedom From The Old Money Paradigm, New Earth Communities & More

We are thrilled to launch Ownstream’s “Our Bright Future”, Building the New Earth series this week with Sarah Armide. Sarah is living, breathing, and working with others on a constellation of paradigms for the New Earth society. Five years ago, a health crisis catalyzed her awakening, and thrust her into a process of radical self-healing. Since healing herself, she teaches others how to heal from illness, and that any “dis-ease”—in fact, any thing we experience in our outer reality—is merely a projection of what patterns we have remaining within us to purify to realize our full potential, life force, and expression of spirit.

In her quest to “release anything that will hold her back from ascending to her highest human potential”, Sarah has worked hard to “depower the deep state” attempts at control and break free from the money game—that is, the false, limiting belief systems society has installed within us about money, value, and work that enslave us from the inside out. In this conversation, we will walk in detail through the process Sarah has used to free herself and others, and live an abundant life directed by her own inspiration and joy. Sarah also spent years living in community in Costa Rica, is on her way to Bali to co-create another community with her soul family, and has given much energy and space to visioning what our lives will look like living in community and in harmony with nature as the New Earth rises.
